After high school, I headed to the University of Arizona to study Media and Digital Arts. I missed the waves at first, but I’ve grown to genuinely love the Arizona desert and its wide-open beauty.

Right after college, I moved in with three other guys named Chris. We started calling each other by last names, and Montgomery quickly became “Monty.” That name has stuck ever since.

Having an extroverted personality and passion for media naturally led me into marketing, where I’ve found my niche working with schools and educational institutions. I call my approach Community Marketing—keeping a warm, inclusive voice that makes people feel like they truly belong, like family. I believe that’s the real key to effective, lasting business.

I also coach football and teach music at the schools, which keeps me close to the kids and the things I love. At heart, I’m a problem solver who enjoys building simple systems and win-win solutions that help communities thrive.

I’m especially fascinated by the world of AI and I’m excited to use it as a creative tool in the coming years to solve problems in smarter, more impactful ways.

One day, I see myself heading toward the Phoenix or Tempe area, where there’s more opportunity to make a bigger contribution. Still the same California kid at heart—just trading waves for desert sunsets and looking forward to seeing things grow here in the Arizona desert.
